Somewhere to put it between jobs
Projects rarely line up neatly. A site closes on the Friday and the next one is not ready for six weeks. A machine comes off hire with nowhere to go. Cabins have to come off a compound before the new tenant arrives. That gap is what the yard is for.
We store goods and units at our own premises at Drewett Street in Miles Platting. It is gated and CCTV secured, it is a yard rather than a lock up, so there is room for the awkward items that self storage will not take, and it is the same yard our lorries run out of every morning.
That last part is what makes it useful. We collect the unit, we keep it, and when you want it we load it back out on our own vehicle. One enquiry, one company, and no arranging a haulier to meet a storage firm.

Storage and the transport as one job
Most people who store with us are already using us for the moves. The unit comes off a site on our lorry, into the yard, and back out on our lorry when the next site is ready. Priced as one arrangement rather than three, and nothing sits waiting for somebody else's vehicle to turn up.
When you email, tell us what the item is, roughly how much space it takes up and how long you think it will be with us. If it needs lifting into place in the yard rather than driving in, say so, because that is a HIAB job and we will plan the space accordingly.

What can you store?
Cabins, containers, steelwork, plant, machinery, pods, kiosks, crated goods and palletised materials. If it is something we would normally carry on a lorry, it is something we can usually keep in the yard for you. Email and describe it.
Is the yard secure?
It is CCTV secured and gated, at our own premises on Drewett Street in Miles Platting. It is a working yard with our lorries in and out of it all day, which in practice is a fair part of the security.
Can you collect it and bring it back out again?
That is the point of storing it with us. The same lorries that store your unit collect it in the first place and deliver it out again when it is needed, so there is one company handling the whole thing rather than a haulier at each end.
How long can it stay?
A few days between two sites, or months while a project waits to start. Both are normal. Tell us roughly how long you expect it to be and we will tell you what it costs.
What are your access hours?
The yard works to our normal hours, Monday to Friday 06:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 07:00 to 12:30. Give us notice of when you need something out and we will have it ready.
How is it invoiced?
Per job, or on one monthly invoice if you have a trade account with us. If you store regularly a trade account is usually the simpler way to run it.
